Catchin' Up

First off, the workshop with Jeff was great. We spent about 3 1/2 hours in the morning going over foot and ankle work, TGU's, and swings...very deep! The second half of the day was spent on athletic development and had a lot of things that would apply to everyday training as well. Needless to say the day gave me many things to work on with myself and my clients. If you ever have the chance to spend any time with Jeff I would highly recommend it, not only is he a stand up guy but he really knows his stuff. Beau Bentley(another RKC from OK) and Rush( Jeff's son) also came along to help out. I'll have more to say about this day as I get time to go through the material.

-Arm Bar 24KGx30 count/ 2 sets

These last 2 sessions don't sound like much but the nervous system has been fried! I've also snuck in some Indian Club practice here and there.

wow...lots of stuff...went by jason's club and he was doing the skip stuff with his clients--said it was a Level II thing he learned; i really liked the side skip--tough on the coordination...i remember doing this when i played college f-ball...funny how you can forget little gems like this---oldies but goodies

i really gotta get the tgu book from brett...i will prob buy it 1/2 price at the cert course if possible...i watched some of the new stuff that jason learned with the getup and it really sparked my interest--...cool stuff!! congrats on your ck-fms cert...i saw your name on the board!! rock on!! later

Yeah, I wish I could have had Jeff here for a week or so to soak everything in. The skipping is cool stuff. Awesome for kids you may be training but also good for folks that aren't coordinated enough to skip. The Kelos Sthenos is worth it! The stuff Jeff adds to it is awesome.

And thanks for the props...CK-FMS is definitely good stuff. Have you found out when you are assisting yet?
