Thurs Training - 7/9/09

Movement Prep - same

-Half Kneel/Chop x 10/10 - 2 sets

-Progressive TGU 16KGx1/1

-1 Arm Push(24" incline) x 3/3 - 4 sets
Superset w/
-Continuous Lunge 16KGx5/5 - 4 sets
Weight racked on moving side.

-Swing BW+32KG
Practiced swing patterns and natural recruitment swings.

-DU and Rev Bending in IMP's

That's it for today. Making my way through Born to Run and really enjoying it. Turns out my suspicions were correct...Nike really is the original evil empire as far as feet are concerned. ;-D

i like the comment i heard "smart shoes make for dumb feet"...i need to read that book

i talked to a guy that works at a sporting goods store...they are selling $130 shoes that are supposed to mimic some tribe that walks around w/out shoes ...blah, blah...i can't remember the name of the shoe but it sounds fishy..later,

Great book, check it out! The Nike Free was designed by a team that went all over world researching barefoot cultures. I'm sure they aren't cheap. ;-) I really like the VFF.
